The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone on Lake Superior near Duluth, MN on July 4, 2012. This zone is intended to restrict vessels from a portion of the Duluth area of Lake Superior during the Duluth Fourth Fest fireworks display. This temporary safety zone is necessary to protect spectators and vessels from the hazards associated with fireworks displays.
