Washington: Final Authorization of State Hazardous Waste Management Program Revision

On July 7, 1998, the EPA published a proposed rule (63 FR 36652) and an immediate final rule (63 FR 36587) to approve a revision to the State of Washington hazardous waste management program which would give the program jurisdiction over ``non-trust lands'' within the exterior boundaries of the Puyallup Indian reservation located in Tacoma, Washington. The EPA stated in the immediate final rule that if the Agency received adverse written comment it would publish a notice withdrawing the immediate final rule before its effective date, and
