The Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) announces a 90-day finding for a petition to list the Kootenai River population of the interior redband trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss gairdneri) under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended. The Service finds that the petition did not present substantial scientific or commercial information indicating that the petitioned actions may be warranted, because it fails to substantiate that the interior redband trout of the Kootenai River are a distinct population segment.
